Hi everyone! I’m Ella Sumas, and I’m a senior at Westfield High School. I have been involved in YAG for 4 years, and this is my first year in the officer corps where I will be serving as the Commissioner of Education in the Cabinet! Outside of YAG, you can find me on the ice playing hockey, hiking with friends and family, or sketching design ideas for my next architecture project. I’ve even had the chance to intern at a local firm! YAG has given me so much, from building my confidence to connecting me to passionate and inspiring people, and I’m grateful that I’ve been given the chance to give back to the program as an officer. I can’t wait to meet everyone and make this another amazing year together in YAG!
