NJ YAG Junior Legislators

Junior Legislators is a specialized committee for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders, giving middle school students the opportunity to experience various aspects of the YAG program. Students will emulate different aspects of conference, writing their own bills and participating in the same debate and problem-solving exercises as their high school counterparts.  

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be in 6th, 7th or 8th grade

• Draft and debate your own bill in front of committee

• Learn and utilize Parliamentary Procedure

• Uphold the Four YMCA Core Values
